  1.              POV Ray Trace For The Atari Falcon 030

  3. This program is the followup to DKB Raytrace by David  Buck.  The 
  4. first version of POV Ray Trace appeared on the PC. The Amiga, Mac 
  5. and Falcon soon followed.  This two disk set comprises of the  ST 
  6. version. The files have all been compressed using Vincent Pomey's 
  7. ST  Zip  v2.2  and will have to be decompressed to several  blank
  8. disks (or preferrably a hard drive) before use. ST Zip is easy to 
  9. use but  I've  included  the  docs anyway  so  you should have no 
  10. problems.

  12. POV Ray Trace must be run from a CLI.  A sample startup file  for 
  13. Gemini's  Mupfel  is included (TRACE.MUP).  If you  have  Mupfel, 
  14. simply  type  TRACE filename.ext.  If not,  it should  be  easily 
  15. enough  adapted for use with other CLIs.  You can set the  screen 
  16. dimensions in TRACE.MUP to suit. If you're like me and hate CLIs,
  17. you can use POVSHELL by Binaris (on the other disk).  It lets you
  18. control POV from a GEM based interface. The only problem  is that 
  19. it supports some extra functions only available on later versions 
  20. of POV. I'm trying to track down a  later version  of POV at  the 
  21. moment, which has all these extra features.
